Foreclosure help for Sunset Park and Brooklyn

With the increased number of foreclosures in New York and in Brooklyn all neighborhoods are affected. I recently came into contact with attorney Carl Person. He is one of the top attorneys dealing with foreclosures in the country. He has gone against some of the biggest Law Firms in the country representing some of the biggest banks. While he is based in New York he deals with clients throughout the 50 states. He offers Cadillac services at Chevrolet prices. He is an activist who works for the small guy. I am including his video in this post. If your are in the neighborhood or nearby or anywhere in the city I urge you to watch it. If you are in danger of being foreclosed or have problems with your mortgage you should give him a call. The consultation is FREE and it will only cost you a bit of time. Chances are high that he can help you. Tell him this blog sent you over.

Sunset Park (the park) faces budget cuts

The Brooklyn Eagle has an article on a report by the New Yorkers for Parks, and its report “Supporting Our Parks: Alternative Strategies for Revenue Generation.” The report outlines different ways in which the community could raise funds to help maintain the park in this period of budget cuts and economic adversity. It is well worth reading if at least to give some active local residents some ideas on how to become involved and perhaps organizing to keep the park a vibrant part of the community and preventing it from deteriorating as it has in past times of economic adversity.

Kings Hotel already on Expedia, other sites

Kings Hotel is already listed on Expedia and it's not even open yet. It also has a listing at calhotels.us with a starting book date of February 27, so we must assume that is the opening date when it will be expected to be in business. The listing at Hotels.com has a rate function as well, but does not work, I suppose because it's not open yet. So far we don't know the rates. At least we do know the following so far. It has 5 floors and 50 rooms available. It has Karaoke which it touts on the websites. I suppose that we will have to wait till it actually opens to find out the rates. It also advertises internet connections. I would hope so, this is after all the 21st century.
