This was my block right after 911. The neighborhood was a sea of red, white and blue. There were no Mexican, Puerto Rican, Dominican, Chinese or flags of any of the other ethnic groups that abound the neighborhood. It was all red, white and blue. There were US flags everywhere and candle light vigils. It didn't last long. Did it......
