As if we needed more proof of the accelerating gentrification of the neighborhood comes this piece from the blog Fashion Whirled. What it all boils down to is that the changes in the neighborhood are accelerating at a fast pace to the degree that in a couple of years we won't even recognize the waterfront area of the neighborhood. We all knew this was going to happen with all the plans on the drawing boards to completely redo the waterfront part for some time now.
